Brain Training for Dyscalculia and Math Disorders

Few skills are more important inside and outside the classroom than math. A strong foundation of core math skills can unlock students’ potential in a range of academic subjects, while also offering a wealth of real-world applications. At The Brain Accelerator, we help students build these foundational skills with MathRx® — a math training program for students of all ages, including lifelong learners.

MathRx® is designed to build and strengthen math skills through one-on-one games and exercise with a brain trainer. On Average, students improved their math scores by 3.2 years in quantitative concepts!

We customize MathRx® for different ages, skill levels, and learning styles. This makes our math program a great choice for elementary students who are starting to learn math, middle school and high school students who are having trouble with math and related subjects, and adults who want to make math more intuitive and less frustrating.

MathRx® helps students improve math skills in four basic areas:

• We help students become fluent in the language of math, helping them make sense of written equations and math concepts in spoken language.

• We teach students how to see the world in terms of numbers and quantities, including concepts like size, weight, and amount.

• We help students break down math problems into easy-to-understand pieces and then put the pieces back together to understand the whole problem.

• We train students to think in mathematical terms more quickly and accurately, allowing them to understand math concepts and solve problems faster.
